WHAT’S NEW AT THE CONCESSION STAND? A LOT!

Baseball and hot dogs have been paired together for decades. The D-backs go all out with their hot dogs. The D-Back Dog. The Churro Dog. Other new items include the vegan Poor Boy Sandwich (vegan), Kick’n Chick’n Wrap (vegan) Chili Verde Mac Dog, Buffalo Chicken Fries and Fried Bread Pudding Bites.

#CAPSON

Don’t forget your baseball cap for Opening Day!

If you use the hashtag #CapsOn on Twitter, a special emoji will appear. Cool, huh?

FREE SWAG!

Throughout the D-backs season, there are certain promotional items that are given out to fans. The home opener is no exception. It’s the beginning of the season, so the first giveaway is a magnet with the D-backs' entire season on it. There will be a total of 40,000 magnets given out.

An A.J. Pollock bobblehead (20,000 of them) will be given out at the April 23 game against the Pirates. On April 30, 20,000 D-backs jersey bags will be given out. View promotion schedule.

LA TERRAZA

New this year, the D-backs have redeveloped a portion of the upper right field concourse to have a Latin vibe. There is Latin-inspired decor, live music and food, including from Phoenix's El Guero Canelo. It will be open during 28 of the 81 regular season home games, including Opening Day.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Chase Field is located at Fourth and Jefferson. There are parking lots and garages in the area. You will pay and there will be a lot of people driving around, so be cautious.

If you drink, DO NOT DRIVE.

Other options include taking the light rail. There are three stations within walking distance of the stadium. You can also take a cab, an Uber or a Lyft. Check current traffic conditions.
