Chicago-based pizzeria, Lou Malnati's is coming to Scottsdale.
The deep-dish pizzeria announced Tuesday morning its plans to open a 10,000-square-foot restaurant in Scottsdale, its third location in the Valley.
The restaurant is the first tenant announced for Chauncey Lane, a $25 million entertainment development planned for Chauncey Lane and Scottsdale Road, just south of Loop 101. The development is scheduled to break ground over the summer.

Lou Malnati's said in its announcement that it plans to open the Scottsdale restaurant in early summer 2018.
"We have been overwhelmed by the response this past year and are ready to expand so that we can serve more of our authentic deep dish to the people of Arizona," said owner Marc Malnati in a prepared statement.
In May, the pizzeria revealed its plans to open a second location near 56th Street and Indian School Road in Arcadia.That location will not be a typical dine-in restaurant. Instead, it will solely focus on catering, carry-out and delivery.
At last check, the Arcadia location is scheduled to open in the fall.

The Scottsdale location will have a full bar and outdoor patio, similar to its restaurant at Uptown Plaza in central Phoenix, while also having carry-out, delivery and catering.
