Fresh off their Grammy-award win, Alabama Shakes has announced the second leg of their North American tour.
The band's sophomore album, Sound & Color, won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album. Their single, Don't Wanna Fight (see music video below), took honors in best rock performance and song categories.
Alabama Shakes--made up of leader singer and guitarist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, bassist Zac Cockrell, drummer Steve Johnson, touring keyboard players Ben Tanner and Paul Horton--will perform Aug. 7 at Comerica Theatre.
Tickets to the show went on sale Feb. 19.
Dawes will be the opening act.
