FAT OX
Chef Matthew Carter, known for Zinc Bistro, The Mission and The House Brasserie in Old Town Scottsdale, launched a new restaurant in November, alongside restaurateurs Mark Drinkwater and Brian Raab. Fat Ox serves house-made pastas, mesquite-roasted seafood, steaks and salads made tableside.

CRUJIENTE TACOS
Crujiente Tacos, which translates to "crunchy" in Spanish, serves -- yup, you guessed it -- crunchy street tacos. Chef Rich Hinojosa and business partner Jason Morris opened Crujiente in the spot formerly occupied by now-closed The Grind near 40th Street and Camelback. They serve a variety of tacos, including Poke, beef, duck and pork.

MY PIE
My Pie opened its third Valley location in Gilbert in November. The fast-casual restaurant offers New York-style pizza that is baked for two minutes in an 800-degree oven. Guests can choose from their menu or customize their entire pizza.

Blaze Pizza is a fast-casual, design-your-own pizza joint that cooks in minutes. Avondale is its second Valley location, although others are planned for Phoenix and Glendale.

Marco's Pizza opened its fourth Arizona location in November.

ANGRY CRAB SHACK
Craving crab, shrimp or barbecue? Angry Crab Shack opened its sixth Valley location in east Mesa last month. This location serves BBQ, too! They have 20 beers on tap and an 110-foot video wall.

PERFECT PEAR BISTRO
The family-owned restaurant opened its second location in Tempe and third in the Valley in November. It took over the building previously occupied by now-closed Mexican restaurant, Mucho Gusto. Perfect Pear features American cuisine with a twist. They have salads, sandwiches, tacos and flatbreads.

CLEVER KOI
Clever Koi opened its second Valley location in Gilbert's Heritage Marketplace. The Asian-inspired restaurant serves build-your-own noodle bowls and small plates. It is led by Chef Jared Porter, general manager Nick Campisano, and bar manager Joshua James. It opened its first location in Phoenix.

Hungry for sushi? Sushi Brokers opened its third Valley location in Gilbert's Heritage Marketplace in November. Besides sushi, they also have burgers, sandwiches, and non-raw dishes if raw fish isn't necessarily your thing.

Beloved fast-food chain (especially here in Arizona), In-N-Out opened a new location in Central Phoenix. Now you can get a Double-Double or animal-style fries near 20th Street and Camelback Road.

Jamie's Wine Bar opened Nov. 1 inside the Wrigley Mansion. The intimate wine bar will offer its guests to 25 premium by-the-glass wines. It will also serve shareable plates.

Barnone is located within Gilbert's Agritopia neighborhood and houses various local craftsmen. While it is not a stand-alone eatery it does have a few eateries and a brewery. Fire and Brimstone serves local ingredients over a wood fire or wood-burning oven, The Uprooted Kitchen has a plant-based menu and 12 West Brewing Co serves beer.

Rott N' Grapes is a new wine and beer bar that opened in Central Phoenix close to Hula's Modern Tiki. They currently serve appetizers and are hoping to launch a tapas menu soon.
