A storage facility burglar from Queen Creek tried his luck one too many times and was arrested by Mesa police.
Police report that over the past seven weeks a storage facility near Guadalupe Road and Country Club Drive has been burglarized eight times.
Police say various items such as generators, jewelry, high-end auto parts and All-Terrain Vehicles were stolen from the facility.
Police say they placed a trailer and a generator at the facility, each of them affixed with a tracking device. On June 18 they noticed the items were on the move. They tracked the stolen items to a home in Queen Creek near Hawes and Ocotillo roads.
After locating the trailer and generator in the backyard of the home, police arrested 37-year-old Blake Jordan Clement, as he was leaving home.
Upon his arrest, Clement allegedly admitted to the thefts, saying he was given an access code to the facility by a friend.
Clement has been charged with burglary.
