A man was caught after he stole six guitars, worth more than $12,000, in three robberies at the same guitar store.
Salt River police say 34-year-old Cory Shane Headrick stole the guitars from The Guitar Center at The Pavilions near Pima Road and Talking Stick Way.
Two of the thefts happened in January, and another occurred in mid-August.
Police say they were able to track down the car used in the thefts and talked with the owner of the car who reportedly told police that he sold the car to Headrick.
After his arrest on September 13, Headrick said he sold three of the guitars, but police were able to recover the other three.
He has been charged with shoplifting.
