Hospital security struggled to remove a naked man who walked into a pediatric emergency room last week.
Phoenix Police report that on March 8, a discharged patient identified as 45-year-old Christopher David Hartman, refused to leave Maricopa Medical Center near 24th and Roosevelt streets.
Hospital security escorted Hartman to a nearby bus stop.
Police say later that day, Hartman returned and walked into the pediatric emergency room, completely naked and touching himself.
Police report that a family with children and other hospital workers were in the room at the time.
The workers got the family out of the room, while security tried to remove Hartman. They say, in the struggle to remove Hartman, a glass door was shattered. Security detained Hartman until police arrived.
He has been charged with indecent exposure.
