PHOENIX — Two animals are dead after a fire sparked at a west Phoenix mobile home.
Phoenix fire officials say crews from Phoenix and Glendale were called to the home near 51st Avenue and Camelback Road.
Initial reports indicated a resident was going in and out of the mobile home, and animals were inside.
When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke and large flames.
The fire was attacked from multiple entry points until the fire was fully contained.
Two animals were found dead inside. No people were hurt.
A crisis response team was called out to assist the resident with any needs and fire investigators are working to learn what caused it.
