The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has launched a new website to help patients get care at facilities around the country.
The reworked Access and Quality in VA Healthcare section of the website compares hospitals and clinics with private-sector hospitals and see how quickly they can be seen by a doctor.
The VA's Secretary David Shulkin said during his confirmation hearing that transparency is critical to fixing problems with wait times at hospitals.
The website also allows veterans to give feedback on medical visits and give more details about their satisfaction ratings.
