An Indiana woman jumped out of a moving car after spotting a spider on her shoulder, but she left her 9-year-old son inside the vehicle.
After his mom jumped from the car, the boy got into the driver's seat and tried to stop the car, which was in reverse.
Instead of hitting the brakes, the boy accidentally accelerated, sending the car backwards into an oncoming school bus.
The boy was taken to the hospital with minor head injuries.
The bus was empty at the time and the driver was not injured.
