The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says it believes searchers have located the remains of a missing Casa Grande man.

According to PCSO Sheriff Mark Lamb, a charred body was discovered Saturday afternoon just south of Coolidge Municipal Airport.

Investigators discovered unique jewelry and shoes on the body and his family says those items belonged to 25-year-old Cody Virgin. However, authorities are still waiting on test results to positively identify the remains.

"Sadly, the body was charred and we were unable to immediately identify it as the remains of Cody Virgin," Lamb said.

The findings come a day after PCSO held a press conference to discuss the victim's disappearance and release new information in the case.

Virgin was last seen by family members on Jan. 30. William Daniel Randolph, 26, has since been arrested in connection to the man's death and charged with murder, concealment of a human body and hindering an investigation.

The relationship between the men is unknown.
