A 10-year-old at a Maricopa school said he wrote out a "kill list" after he was teased by several of his classmates.

Maricopa police spokesman Ricardo Alvarado said eight students were on the boy's "wilt thou shall kill" list, which was brought to the principal's attention after another student saw it.

Police arrived at Legacy Traditional School to investigate and spoke to all of the children and parents involved.

Alvarado said the 10-year-old admitted he was "frustrated" at being teased by the other students, but that he was not going to do anything.

The boy's parents told police he does not have access to firearms.

Alvarado told ABC15 the case is still pending. If the case goes forward, it will be reviewed by the County Attorney's Office for any type of charges.
