The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a baby girl.
Sheriff's officials say Ajo District deputies responded to a home just before noon Friday after getting a report of a 17-month-old girl who wasn't breathing.
Upon arrival, deputies conducted CPR until paramedics arrived.
But authorities say the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her name hasn't been released yet.
Sheriff's officials say homicide unit detectives have now responded for further investigation.
