A pregnant woman is recovering after a house fire in Cave Creek.
Rural Metro said the fire started at a house near 26th Street and Saddle Mountain Road on Wednesday morning.
Due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area, tender trucks were dispatched to the scene. The trucks had to go and get water and come back to the scene.
A pregnant woman inside the house was transported to an area hospital as a precaution.
She was released early Wednesday afternoon.
She was the only person inside the house at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
