A Scottsdale teacher and track coach was arrested Tuesday for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.
Police allege Christopher Thomas McKenna had an ongoing relationship with a 17-year-old student over the past year. He was booked into jail on ten counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and six counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
McKenna worked at Chaparral High School and Desert Mountain High School as a special-needs physical education teacher, according to police. He has been placed on paid-administrative leave pending the investigation.
Police do not believe at this time there are any additional victims.
