CHINO VALLEY, AZ — Firefighters say three dogs and a cat died in a house fire in Chino Valley Saturday morning.
Crews say the animals died of smoke inhalation in the blaze near Eldred Road and Shirley Street.
Firefighters say no one was home when the fire broke out. Crisis teams are working with the homeowner to find a place to stay.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
