Interstate 17 is back open near Sunset Point after a car fire caused roads to close, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

I-17 was shut down just north of Black Canyon City around 3 p.m. Friday due to the car fire near milepost 251.
The interstate has since reopened but the incident has caused 20 miles of traffic backup. Drivers should also expect delays due to holiday travelers.
