One man is dead and another injured following a late-night shooting in downtown Phoenix.
The shooting happened around midnight on Friday in the area of Lincoln and 3rd streets in downtown Phoenix.
Phoenix police officials said there was an “invitation only” fish fry taking place in a parking lot south of Chase Field with about a 1,000 people in attendance. Witnesses reported hearing about 30 gunshots.
At least two people were reported to have been hit by the gunfire -- one man died and another was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
