A 29-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly striking and killing a bicyclist with his car Sunday night, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Just after 7:30 p.m. Jesus Alfredo Trillo was exiting northbound Interstate 17 on the Glendale Avenue off-ramp when he struck a bicyclist.

DPS says Trillo fled the scene and drove several miles east and south before eventually re-entering I-17 and crashing on the Dunlap off-ramp at Townley Avenue.
