Another aircraft en route to Phoenix has been hit by a green laser, according to Federal Aviation officials.

FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer said a jet flying in from Palm Springs was struck on the left side of the cockpit around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.

Kenitzer said the incident happened about five miles south of Phoenix as the plane was attempting to land at Sky Harbor Airport.

No injuries were reported.

The incident comes after green lasers struck four aircraft flying into the Deer Valley airport Tuesday night.
