Officials have recovered a body outside of the Phoenix Zoo.
Phoenix fire said the body was found in a pond northeast of the zoo in what officials say is actually part of Papago Park. The body was in the pond for an unknown amount of time.
According to Phoenix police, witnesses reported seeing a person in the middle of the pond. When officers arrived on the scene they found an adult male that appeared to be submerged.
There are no obvious signs of foul play.
