Gymboree and Crazy 8 will close some of its Arizona retail stores among the company's restructuring.
In a releaseTuesday, Gymboree Corporation said it would close around 350 of its stores -- Gymboree, Janie and Jack and Crazy 8 -- nationwide.
"This was a difficult decision to make, but we are confident that it is in the best long-term interest of our Company, our customers and our broader employee base. I am deeply grateful to our team, their exceptional ongoing dedication and their focus on continuing to put our customers at the center of all we do," said Daniel Griesemer, president and CEO of Gymboree, in a prepared statement.
The closings will begin Tuesday, July 18, the company said.
In Arizona, nine Gymboree and Crazy 8 locations are set to close. All Janie and Jack stores in Arizona will remain open, according to a company website.
