The Phoenix Police Department says a man has been arrested for manslaughter after the shooting death of his girlfriend Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened near Van Buren and 19th streets.
The call was first reported as a suicide attempt, but after being interviewed by police, the boyfriend of the victim was arrested.
Details on what led up to the shooting, or their identities have not yet been released.
