A man has died after being shot inside a QuikTrip bathroom near Camelback Road and 27th Avenue.
Phoenix police responded to a shooting call at 12:30 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing and hearing a fight between two men in the bathroom.
As the two were fighting in the bathroom, one of the men shot the other. The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The shooter told police that the other man was physically assaulting him at the time of the shooting.
Police have not said if the shooter will be taken into custody.
