Police have made an arrest after someone snuck onto a tour bus for Drake in Phoenix on Tuesday and stole nearly $3 million worth of property.
According to police, between 10 and 10:15 p.m., Travion King boarded the bus parked at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix. The suspect took a briefcase which police said had around $3 million worth of property inside.
King, 21, was arrested on Wednesday on the Arizona State University Tempe campus after he was caught trespassing on the Barrett Honors College property. A student called police to alert them of the trespasser; he was arrested around 3:30 a.m.
The Phoenix Police Department said the multi-million dollar property was recovered. They said surveillance footage helped connect King to the crime. King has done contract work with local music venues, police said.
Police in Tempe booked the man on one count of trespassing but Phoenix police will be re-booking the man on new charges connected to the theft.
Drake was performing his Phoenix stop of the "Summer Sixteen" tour with Future at the time.
Video from TMZ reportedly shows Drake reacting to the news after the concert:
