Detectives are investigating after a woman's body was found Monday evening in Phoenix, according to police.
The body was located around 4 p.m. at 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
Police officials said they are waiting for autopsy results and currently investigating the incident as a homicide.
According to police, someone called 911 to report a woman, covered with a blanket, who appeared to be dead just outside of the Phoenix Rescue Mission.
There were no obvious signs of trauma to the woman's body, officials said.
