It was a very close call for one Valley driver on Thursday morning when corrugated metal sheets went through the windshield of his SUV.
Air15 video showed the long pieces of metal on the bed of a work truck, going through the driver side windshield of an SUV on Interstate 17 and Bethany Home Road.
Phoenix Fire officials said the man was transported to the hospital with neck pain.
A Department of Public Safety spokesperson told ABC15 the man suffered serious but non-life threatening head injuries.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
