St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance is holding its annual Super Saturday Turkey Drive Saturday this weekend at over 30 valley grocery stores, including Safeway, Albertsons, and various food bank locations in Phoenix and Surprise.
In 2017, the Food Bank donated over 11,000 Holiday Food Boxes to those in need. This year, St. Mary's would like to hit their goal of 7,000 turkeys collected.
In addition to turkeys, St. Mary's staff and volunteers will accept perishable and non-perishable food donations, as well as monetary contributions.
The Super Saturday Turkey Drive will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 at the following locations:
