A woman who helped run an unlicensed home daycare facility in Phoenix has pleaded guilty in the 2012 death of a 2-year-old girl.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say 31-year-old Allison Ann Clement pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder and three counts of attempted child abuse.

Clement and co-defendant Ryan Allen Reed were indicted in the December 2012 death of Savannah Cross.

The 30-year-old Reed pleaded guilty last week to charges that included second-degree murder, child abuse and attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Clement and Reed both are scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 21.

According to a report from the county's medical examiner, the girl died from multiple traumatic injuries, acute methamphetamine exposure and dehydration.

Authorities say she was weeks away from her third birthday when she died.
