Phoenix police are investigating after several female joggers reported a man exposing himself to them during their morning run.

According to several women, it’s happening along the Bridle Path trail in central Phoenix. The women were running between Glendale and Northern avenues along Central Avenue when they encountered the man.

The Bridle Path is an extremely busy stretch, where a lot of people run and walk in the mornings and evenings.

"Runners are always coming and going,” said Dawn, one of the suspect's victims.

Dawn did not want to give her last name, but she says she could not believe the bold move the guy made.

"How could someone do something like this? It was in the middle of the day,” Dawn said.

She was running along the path when the creeper pulled up to Central Avenue from a side street.

"He waved me across, but he had enough time to go. I thought it was extremely strange and it stuck out. But I ran by,” said Dawn.

She still didn’t feel right when she saw him turn, now driving alongside her.

"I thought he was having car problems or that he was lost. That’s why he was driving so slowly," she said, adding he waved at her to come closer and was mumbling something.

"The words that I caught were him saying he would pay for a good time. At that moment I look down into the car. He had his pants down by his knees and he was performing a lewd act and exposing himself to me,” said Dawn.

The man took off, leaving Dawn disgusted. Now she wants people to be on the lookout.

“My fear is his intent will escalate and that he might get physically violent or sexually violent if he isn’t caught,” said Dawn.

The man is described as an African-American male in his late teens or early 20s. Witnesses say he is in a light-colored sedan.

If you see him or anything suspicious, call the Phoenix Police Department.
