A large quilt with separate panels each representing someone who has died from AIDS has made its way to the Valley. Aunt Rita's Foundation has sponsored 15 panels which will be added to the AIDS Memorial Quilt.
Two panels being added honor Randy Schrock, co-founder of the original Aunt Rita's Foundation, and Randy Gorbette, co-founder of Phoenix Shanti Group.
The Foundation will be accepting panels until Jan. 12, 2016 if anyone would like to make one.
The panels can be viewed at The Parsons Center for Health and Wellness, 1101 N. Central Avenue, on Dec. 1 from 7-9 p.m; Dec. 2, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
