Officials successfully rescued a cat stuck up a tree in north Phoenix.
Phoenix fire said the cat was stuck in a tree, 40 feet up, near 21st and Northern avenues.
The humane society was on the scene, along with an Animal Planet filming crew.
Firefighters and a humane society rescue crew member were hoisted up the tree via the fire truck ladder where they safely retrieved the dark colored cat from the tree.
It all came to an end when the cat had its feet firmly on the ground and a fire crew member shook the hand of a humane society rescue member.
