The Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation after a man told them that his car was shot at while traveling on Interstate 17 on Sunday.
Around 1:13 p.m., a man's car was shot at once while in the area of I-17 and Peoria Avenue.
DPS told ABC15 that a suspect, described as a heavy-set light-skinned man, fired a single shot at the man's vehicle. The suspect's vehicle is described as a four door Nissan Titan in a light blue color.

Two men were in the vehicle that was shot at and told ABC15 that they were being followed by the man in the light blue pick-up.
Saifan Koreek was driving southbound on I-17 when he noticed he was being followed.
"When I'm doing the change lane in the freeway, he's following me," he said. "When I'm changing lanes, he's following me."
After the man in the pick-up shot at them, he got off the next freeway exit which was Peoria Avenue.
No injuries were reported during this incident.
