Explosions heard in mobile home fire in Phoenix

Officials are investigating a mobile home fire that included explosions in Phoenix.

The fire happened just before 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.

A fire official said there were flames coming through the roof of the mobile home when they arrived.  There were numerous vehicles and a boat in the garage and backyard which helped to fuel the fire. There were a few explosions reported due to propane tanks and gas cans on the property.

Firefighters were eventually able to gain control of the fire and no serious injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation.
