A man was found dead in a pool on Tuesday, said Phoenix Fire officials.
Phoenix Fire Captain Reda Bigler said first responders were called after someone went to check on the man after he did not show up for work.
Firefighters arrived and found the man in the pool. He was pronounced deceased shortly after.
Bigler said the man was in his 50s, but did not release his name.
The home is located near Seventh Street and Maryland Avenue.
The investigation was handed over to Phoenix police.
