The Phoenix Police Department has identified and talked with a person of interest in the case of a missing 21-year-old woman.
Police say Tammy Lynn Compton is a person of interest in the disappearance of Taylorlyn Jae Nelson, who has been missing since March 11.
Police were asking for the public's help to locate Compton. Police said they were able to contact her and talk about the missing woman.
Nelson was reported missing by her family three days later. She was last known to be at her home in the area of 27th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.
Compton and Nelson are acquaintances, according to a Phoenix police spokesperson.
Police say it is not normal for Nelson to have been gone this long without any contact with her family and friends.
