Phoenix police have arrested a 23-year-old man suspected of stealing several packages from Valley homeowners.

The victims were contacted and reportedly told officers that they had made purchases online and their packages had been taken from their homes sometime in the late morning to early afternoon.

He was booked into jail on four counts of theft.

Phoenix police are reminding the public to plan for package security by arranging someone to be home for deliveries or to have deliveries sent to a PO box or lock box.
