A young boy has died after being pulled from a pool at a Phoenix apartment complex.
Phoenix firefighters were called to the area of 48th Street and Baseline Road Saturday night after a 3-year-old boy was discovered in a pool.
When firefighters arrived at the scene his mother was performing CPR, a Phoenix fire spokesperson said.
The boy, Chrishawn Kelleybrew, was then taken to the hospital in critical condition.
On Sunday morning fire officials confirmed that Kelleybrew had died at the hospital.
It’s unknown how long Kelleybrew was in the water, and an investigation is ongoing at this time.
