One person was killed and two others were seriously injured Thursday night in a west Phoenix crash, fire officials said.
A pickup truck going at a high rate of speed on 51st Avenue collided with a car that was attempting to make a left turn onto Osborn Road shortly after 8 p.m., Phoenix police said. A man, who was in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene while two other people, including a 15-year-old girl, were taken to a hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
