Firefighters are investigating after a semi-truck hauling tens of thousands of pounds of fruit caught fire during rush hour on Interstate 10.
Reports came in around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday about the fire on I-10 eastbound at 51st Avenue, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
DPS said the truck was hauling 50,000 pounds of cantaloupe at the time of the fire which resulted in a difficult clean-up.
