Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed overnight in west Phoenix.
The shooting happened just before midnight in the parking lot of a Ranch Market strip mall on Tuesday in the area of 35th and Glendale avenues.
Phoenix Fire says a man in his twenties was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition. He later died from his injuries.
Police are still investigating the shooting and have not yet identified any witnesses.
