Officials are looking for the suspect connected to a shooting in west Phoenix.
Phoenix police said on Thursday night a man was shot during a confrontation with four suspects near 67th Avenue and Thomas Road.
According to police, the suspect fled when they saw an officer in the area.
Officials set up a perimeter and were able to take three of the four suspects into custody.
A recent murder spree in the area has neighbors concerned.
"It could just be for fun. We have no idea what's going on it could just be a bunch of little hoodlums trying to step it up. You know?" said Joseph Casila.
"Over time I don't know it's safe and then it's not. But you kinda have to deal with it I guess," said neighbor Michael Vasquez.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still looking for the fourth suspect.
