Officials are investigating a home invasion involving drugs in Phoenix.
Phoenix police said the incident happened at an apartment near 56th Street and Van Buren on Wednesday morning.
According to police, the suspect attempted to break into the home. A struggle between the homeowner and the suspect occurred. The homeowner fired a shot at the suspect and the intruder fled the scene.
Officers responded to the scene and found two pounds of marijuana inside the house.
There is no word if the homeowner will be charged.
A description of the suspect is unknown.
