Authorities have identified the man killed in a crash yesterday.
Maricopa County deputies said 78-year-old Donald Neu, of Sun Lakes, died after being hit by a car while riding his bike Thursday morning.
Investigators say Neu was riding west on Riggs Road near Arizona Avenue when a car traveling the same direction drifted into the bike lane, hitting his bike and throwing him 100 feet.
He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
The sheriff's office is still investigating the crash.
