Officials are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Chandler.
Chandler police said they received a 911 call around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday from a resident stating he shot an intruder at his apartment near the Loop 101 and Chandler Boulevard.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a man in his 20’s with a gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The homeowner was not injured.
