A semi-truck that caught fire near Chandler Thursday evening was hauling flowers for Mother’s Day, the Department of Public Safety said.

The Arizona Department of Transportation took to Twitter around 6 p.m. to report a truck on fire on Interstate 10 westbound near Goodyear Road.
The blaze, that sparked just west of the Gila River Bridge, caused several closures along I-10 during heavy traffic hours.

According to DPS, the driver is OK.
