A truck carrying frozen food caught fire on Interstate 10 on Monday.
The truck fire started around 1:30 p.m. on westbound Interstate 10 near State Route 347.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the tires on the truck were on fire which caused a large amount of black smoke in the area.

Both lanes of the I-10 have reopened after being closed for several hours.
I-10 Westbound at Riggs - The left lane has REOPENED. Right lane will remain closed. Be patient, it will take a while 4 the backup to clear.
