Authorities are releasing the name of a bicyclist killed after being struck by a commercial vehicle in Gilbert Wednesday morning.
Gilbert Police say 33-year-old Jenna Taylor was hit at the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Ray Road. The area was closed in both directions for several hours as officers investigated the accident.
A second bicyclist was also injured in the collision, their condition is not known at this time.

Gilbert police said it's unknown if any charges are expected in the case but an investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for Baker Commodities, the company that owns the truck that was involved in the collision released the following statement: "This morning at approximately 8 a.m. a Baker Commodities truck was involved in a collision with a bicyclist at the intersection of Val Vista & Ray in Gilbert, AZ. We are heartbroken to learn that the accident resulted in a fatality. We are working closely with local police to determine the exact sequence of events."
