Several people, including a child and a Gilbert firefighter, were attacked by bees Tuesday evening.
Fire crews tell ABC15, firefighters got a call around 5 p.m. reporting two people had been stung by bees near Pecos and Higley roads.
When crews arrived on scene, they saw thousands of bees swarming the area and also advised people to stay indoors.
Firefighters say they treated six people for bee stings, and four were taken to a hospital. A firefighter was also stung about 50-100 times while he was trying to help the victims and was transported as well.
