A chaotic pursuit through the East Valley has ended after the suspect rolled his vehicle on Interstate 10 south of the Valley.

Air15 video showed the driver of the white pickup truck speeding through intersections in Mesa, Gilbert and Chandler and striking several other vehicles during the Thursday afternoon chase. The man was also seen speeding along US 60 and Loop 101.

Footage showed the man get out of the vehicle at a Mesa stoplight and attempt to carjack a motorcyclist. The two appeared to fight before the subject returned to the pickup.

Authorities said the suspect was involved in an aggravated assault but did not immediately have any further information.
The pursuit ended up heading eastbound on I-10 out of town. Aerial footage showed the truck on its side blocking westbound lanes as of 5:40 p.m.
